**Colorado Sunset, Photos At Cottonwood Pass, CO - July 30, 2008**
	Hanging Around Cottonwood Pass I arrived at the Continental Divide much earlier than needed, but that was okay. I walked and wandered around for approximately 30 minutes. I snapped some photos, enjoyed the slight breeze coming in from the west and reflected about important matters. We have had a warm summer and the snow has been melting rapidly. For the entire months of June and July, our everyday highs have been in the 60's and 70's ... and sometimes into the low 80's! Ah, but this patch of snow that I stood on continues to hold on. It will definitely last into August!
	I photographed the view of the "Three Apostles" - Ice Mountain, the tallest, is 13,950 feet at the summit. I stuck in an arrow to mark Huron Peak. I stood on its summit earlier in the week. :)
	I drove about a mile into Gunnison County and captured a couple of photos of the area I stood.
	Very pretty!

The sunset begins! There were not many clouds.

Photo taken from the Cottonwood Pass parking lot. There were visitors enjoying the sunset (see their heads on the left side?). They had a Kansas license plate on their car.
